Ligamentum ovarii proprium (власна зв'язка яєчника) з'єднує яєчник із маткою і містить судини та нерви. Для видалення яєчника саме цю зв'язку перерізають. Lig. suspensorium ovarii (зв'язка-підвішування) кріпить яєчник до стінки малого тазу, а lig. latum uteri — широка маткова зв'язка.
